The light
on the top left is an umbrella. The next two are Brinkmann
flashlights. The red one is just another variation of the 2
AA-cell aluminum flashlight like the Mini-Maglites and others, but it
has nice rubber gripping surfaces and a push-button switch. The silver
light is a different story. With the possible exception of my two sealed-beam
flashlights (the bright
red Sears is pictured on this website) this is probably the
brightest flashlight I own. This thing uses two three-volt lithium batteries.
That's a 6 volt xenon bulb in there! The manufacturer calls this flashlight
the "LX", as in Lithium and Xenon. It is truly an amazing light,
especially when its size is considered. I've read that the battery life
is, not surprisingly, pretty poor. I'll be curious to see for myself.
The next two are on loan from the A Druda collection. They are 7 and 18
LED flashlights. On the bottom, left to right: 1 Eveready, 2 Mags, a light
that looks just like a Brinkmann I've seen, but has no name on it, a Saphire
blue LED keychain light enscribed with my initials (a gift), and the bottom
right is a laser pointer. |
